BucksBro โ†’ Our Story

We didn't start
a brand.
We started a question.

What if the objects we throw away were the most beautiful things we owned? We spent years finding out. Turns out - they are.

The Concept
Deformed objects as wall art
The Mission
Make the everyday permanent
Where It Started
2022
Rajasthan ,India

It started with a crumpled
hundred dollar bill on a desk
in Udaipur.

Nobody planned BucksBro. It wasn't built in a boardroom or funded by investors. It was born from a single moment - looking at a crumpled $100 bill and thinking: this is more interesting than anything hanging on that wall right now.

The fold lines. The wear marks. The story of every hand that had ever held it. Everything that made it "ruined" was exactly what made it worth looking at. That was the idea. That was everything.

We started with one object. Then another. A Persian carpet crumpled into a corner. A cigarette box from a night worth remembering. A boarding pass from a departure that changed things. Every object we picked up had a story already inside it - we just gave it a wall to live on.

OBJECTS
What We Believe

"Objects don't die
when you're done with them.
They just wait for the right wall."

This is not a print. This is not a poster. This is not decoration. This is a real object - something from the physical world - deliberately transformed into something that belongs on your wall permanently. The difference matters. It's the whole point.

Our Principles

Four things
we refuse to compromise on.

01
Real Over Printed

We don't print images of objects. We use the actual objects - the real cigarette box, the real boarding pass, the real carpet. If it's not the real thing, it's not a BucksBro piece. This rule has never been broken and never will be.

02
Intentional Over Accidental

Every crumple, every fold, every deformation is deliberate. We don't throw something on the floor and call it art. Every transformation is designed, tested, and approved before it gets framed. There is no "happy accident" in a BucksBro piece.

03
Story Over Aesthetics

A beautiful piece with no story is just decoration. Every object we choose carries cultural weight - the dollar bill means something, the cigarette box means something, the boarding pass means something. We pick objects that already have lives before we touch them.

04
Numbered Over Mass

Every piece is part of a limited edition. We will never produce unlimited runs. When an edition is closed, it is closed permanently. The person who owns piece 007 of 050 owns something the world will only ever have 50 of. That is worth protecting.

How It's Made

Not manufactured.
Not printed.
Transformed.

Most wall art is made in a factory in 4 seconds. BucksBro pieces take days - sometimes weeks. The object has to be found, studied, tested, transformed, and framed to a standard that lets it live on a wall for decades. Here's the process we never skip.

01
Source The Object

We find the real thing - not a replica, not a print. The cigarette box off a production line. The boarding pass from a real flight. The Persian carpet someone actually wove. We study it before we destroy anything.

02
Design The Transformation

Every fold angle, every crumple depth is designed before it's executed. We test multiple versions. We reject most of them. Only the right transformation gets approved. There is no random in a BucksBro piece.

03
Frame & Number

Framed to museum standard. Then numbered - each piece gets a unique edition number, recorded and never reissued. When you receive a BucksBro piece it comes with its number. That number is yours permanently.

The Person Behind It
Govind
Founder ยท BucksBro
"I didn't want to make art that people buy because it goes with their sofa. I wanted to make art that people buy because it says something about who they are."

Govind started BucksBro in Udaipur - a city that has always understood that beauty can come from unexpected places. Growing up surrounded by Rajasthan's heritage of craft, texture, and tradition, he developed a sense that the most interesting things were always the ones people overlooked.

BucksBro is his answer to a world where most wall art is interchangeable and forgettable. Every piece is a direct challenge to that - a statement that the objects from your actual life are worth more than anything on a generic shelf.
